Generally considered the very best Colonial House in Ecuador, Hacienda Chillo-Jijón was built around year 1730 and has always belonged to the same family. The main house has a built area of 3500 m2 (37,600 Sq. Ft.) and stands in an 10.5 hectares (26 acres) property, which includes a magnificent Park with centuries-old trees, and additional fields.
Notwithstanding its antiquity, permanent maintenance and updating has given Hacienda Chillo-Jijón the unique combination of a Colonial mansion and 21st century comfort, as regards installations and services.
